# How can I identify which artist is causing a Xero super export to fail?
If a group export fails without identifying the affected artist, try sending **one artist’s super ledger records at a time**. In a support case, this identified the individual whose records needed further checking.
Review that artist’s payroll mapping and required personal and super details, including their date of birth, TFN and fund identifier. The artist should correct their own information securely in their profile. Do not include TFNs in a support email.
Also check whether Xero has an existing draft pay run for the selected calendar. Review it with the person responsible for payroll before taking any action; do not delete or post a pay run simply to clear an error.
If the export still fails, send support the affected booking or ledger reference and the exact error. Exporting individually helps isolate the problem; it does not guarantee that the remaining record is valid or that super has reached the fund.
