# Scheduling Posts to Instagram and Facebook
Connecting your Hot Giggity profile to Instagram and Facebook not only boosts your promotional reach but also significantly reduces the time and effort required to maintain an active social media presence. Let Hot Giggity handle the heavy lifting, so you can keep your audience engaged and informed with minimal effort.
#### Important Notes
Publishing directly to Instagram requires an [Instagram Business](https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/502981923235522?helpref=faq_content) or [Creator Account](https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/2358103564437429?helpref=faq_content). Your Instagram account must be [connected to a Facebook Page](https://help.instagram.com/570895513091465), and you need to be an administrator of that page.
### Connecting Your Venue Profile to Instagram
1. Log in to Hot Giggity on your laptop/desktop.
2. Log in to your Facebook/Instagram account in another browser tab.
3. In Hot Giggity, navigate to **Manage \> My Venues \> Edit**the Venue you want to connect **\> Integrations**
4. Click **Connect to Instagram**.
5. This will open the Facebook Login pop-up. Ensure you are logged into the correct account.
6. Select your Facebook Business account and select the Facebook pages and Instagram accounts you want to connect.
7. Click **Got it**.
8. You will then be taken back to the Hot Giggity platform. Choose the relevant Facebook Page your Instagram account is connected to from the list.
9. The Instagram button will update to show the connected Instagram account.
### Connecting Your Venue Profile to Facebook
1. Log in to Hot Giggity on your laptop/desktop.
2. Log in to your Facebook account in another browser tab.
3. In Hot Giggity, navigate to **Manage \> My Venues \> Edit**on the Venue you want to connect **\> Integrations**
4. Click **Connect to Facebook**.
5. Allow Hot Giggity to access your Facebook account and select the pages you want to connect.
6. Click **Got It**.
7. You will then be taken back to the Hot Giggity platform. Choose the relevant Facebook Page your Instagram account is connected to from the list.
8. The Facebook button will update to show the connected Facebook page.
### **Scheduling Social Posts**
1\. Go to **Promote / Social Posts** to view upcoming gigs filtered by the month filter top right.
2\. Select a gig and click **Schedule**
3\. Choose a date, time, and social channels you want to post to.
4\. Edit the post content, add emojis, and select an image from the Act Gallery or upload an image from your device.
5\. Preview the post for Instagram or Facebook.
6\. Click **Schedule** to schedule the post or use the drop-down to select **Publish Now** to publish immediately.
7\. Monitor the post status in the Summary page and edit if needed before publishing.
#### Editing a Post
1. Navigate to **Promote \> Social Posts** to view upcoming gigs filtered by the month filter top right.
2. Click **Scheduled-Edit** to open the post for editing.
3. Make the necessary edits and click **Update Post**.
#### Cancelling a Post
1. Navigate to **Promote \> Social Posts** to view upcoming gigs filtered by the month filter top right.
2. Click **Scheduled-Edit** to open the post for editing.
3. Use the drop down to select Cancel Post. Click Cancel Post.
**Please note**: Once a post is published, it cannot be edited through Hot Giggity. You will need to edit published posts directly in your social account.
