# Why is GST appearing on my invoices when I am not registered for GST?
Check **Manage → My Personal Profile → Financials → Tax**. If you are not registered for GST, change the setting from **GST** to **Not Applicable** and save.
The setting updates your invoice’s GST treatment. If an incorrect invoice has already been paid, contact the hirer or their accounts team to agree how to correct the payment. Hot Giggity provides the invoicing platform; the gig payment is made between you and the hirer.
